The Procedure
Laser skin resurfacing is a quick, comfortable procedure that does not leave a visible scar or wound like surgical procedures such as a facelift or blepharoplasty. During the procedure, you will feel a very mild heat on your skin. The time that the procedure will take depends upon the areas being treated. Keep in mind that you will be able to resume your daily activities immediately and even apply make-up or shave after the treatment. The procedure should be repeated for 3 to 6 sessions to achieve optimal results with a maintenance follow-up session once or twice a year.
Recovery and Results
After treatment, you may see some slight swelling and redness that will fade within several days. You can return to your normal routine immediately after the procedure. Results will appear just a few days after your first session and will continue to improve after 3 to 6 sessions.
