The Procedure
Most people compare the sensation during the procedure to having an elastic band snapped against their skin. A topical anesthetic can be used to alleviate any discomfort. The duration of the procedure will depend upon the size, complexity and color of your tattoo. In general, however, you can expect each session to last between 15 and 30 minutes.
