Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Quick Recovery Face Lift

Facelift Model Image

Signs of aging may be especially bothersome when they appear on the face and neck. For many men and women in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, a face lift is an ideal way to address these particularly visible areas. A face lift gives the cheeks, jowls and neck a tighter appearance. In addition, a face lift can soften deeper wrinkles or creases. Dr. Scott Gayner performs the MACS-Lift, a quick recovery alternative to traditional face lifts. As you can see in the table below, the MACS-Lift is as effective as a traditional face lift and offers additional benefits.

The MACS-Lift Procedure

During the MACS-Lift procedure, excess skin is removed and underlying tissue is tightened. A traditional face lift involves a long incision and disturbs a large area of skin. The MACS-Lift uses only a short incision in front of the ear. Because a shorter incision is used, people usually experience only minimal bleeding during the procedure and less bruising or swelling after the procedure.

Not ready for surgery? Instead of a face lift, Pennsylvania plastic surgeon Dr. Gayner may suggest other cosmetic surgery procedures like eyelid surgery in Harrisburg or non-surgical facial procedures such as dermal fillers or BOTOX® Cosmetic.
