Harrisburg Plastic Surgeon Dr. Stratis

John P. Stratis is the body-focused Harrisburg plastic surgeon at Stratis Gayner Plastic Surgery. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1975 with a B.A. in Biology. He then performed graduate work at Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey before being admitted to St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. After two years at St. George's, he transferred to the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and graduated with an MD degree in 1982. Dr. Stratis completed a general surgery residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and a two year residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center until 1989.

Dr. Stratis is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery with an added qualification in Hand Surgery. Personal

Pennsylvania plastic surgeon Dr. Stratis married his high school sweetheart in 1976. They have three children. Dr. Stratis has a variety of outside interests such as painting in oils and pastels, sculpting in clay and plasticene, growing grapes, making (and drinking) wine, cooking (and eating), reading and writing both fiction and non-fiction.
