The Procedure
Like other methods of liposuction in Harrisbug, PA, LipoSelection uses tumescent fluid to help numb the area and aid in fat removal. Because the tumescent fluid acts as a local anesthetic, general anesthesia may not be required and sedation may be used instead. Ultrasonic waves are used to break apart the fat so that it can be easily removed through a very small tube. At the same time, the waves leave blood vessels and nerves largely undisturbed.
