The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS)
Dr. Stratis is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The mission of the ABPS is to promote safe, ethical, efficacious plastic surgery to the public by maintaining high standards for the education, examination, certification and recertification of plastic surgeons as specialists and subspecialists.
The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS)
Dr. Gayner is a diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The ABFPRS was established in 1986 to improve the quality of medical and surgical treatment available to the public by examining for professional expertise in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. The ABFPRS focuses on the education, qualification, training, review, and certification of surgeons specializing in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
The American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOto)
Dr. Gayner is a diplomate of The American Board of Otolaryngology (Head and Neck Surgery). The ABOto ensures that its diplomates have met the ABOto's professional standards of training and knowledge in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery. Diplomates are required to have completed a minimum of five years of surgical residency training in otolaryngology after graduation from medical school, received approval of the training Program Director, and successfully completed a rigorous written and oral examination process administered by the ABOto.
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)
Dr. Stratis is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. The ASPS was established over 75 years ago and is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. ASPS Member Surgeons have more than six years of surgical training and experience, with at least three years specifically in plastic surgery.
American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS)
Dr. Stratis is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery. With 2,400 members in the United States, Canada, and other parts of the world, ASAPS is dedicated to advancing the science, art, and safe practice of aesthetic plastic surgery.
American College of Surgeons (ACS)
Dr. Stratis is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a scientific and educational association of surgeons that was founded in 1913 to improve the quality of care for the surgical patient by setting high standards for surgical education and practice.
American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS)
Dr. Gayner is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The AAFPRS is the world's largest specialty association that represents over 2,700 facial plastic and reconstructive surgeons throughout the world. AAFPRS members are board certified surgeons who subscribe to a code of ethics and focus on surgery of the face, head, and neck.
American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HSN)
Dr. Gayner is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The AAO-HNS is the world's largest organization representing specialists who treat the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck. The Academy represents more than 12,000 otolaryngologist—head and neck surgeons who diagnose and treat disorders of those areas.
