Oklahoma City, OK, May 1 -- The Liquid Face Lift Assn (LFLA) has approved Scott Gayner, M.D. of Mechanicsburg, PA (Harrisburg suburb), for membership. The LFLA is an association of U.S. physicians who are leaders in the field of soft tissue augmentation with BOTOX® Cosmetic and advanced dermal fillers such as Restylane®, RADIESSE®, JUVEDERM®, SCULPTRA®. With these liquid face lift products, physicians are now able to provide facial contouring and gentle lifting of facial features (in addition to removal of lines and wrinkles), without surgery.
The liquid face lift is also becoming a common adjunct of cosmetic surgery, as it restores dimensions to a face that has flattened over time. Membership in the association is by invitation only and is limited to licensed physicians who have performed a minimum of 1,000 procedures. The average Liquid Face Lift Specialist has performed nearly 5,000 procedures. Most member physicians are affiliated with higher education institutions and teach injection techniques to other physicians. Many are noted lecturers, authors, researchers or spokespersons in the field of aesthetic medicine.
Scott M. Gayner, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Gayner has performed over 4,000 procedures with liquid face lift products, as well as numerous cosmetic surgical procedures. He has made appearances on CBS and ABC affiliates, and has been interviewed in print media with respect to cosmetic medical procedures. Dr. Gayner is recognized by Allergan (makers of BOTOX® Cosmetic and JUVEDERM®) as a Platinum Provider and by BioForm (makers of RADIESSE®) as a Premier Provider, signifying extensive experience with products used in a liquid face lift procedure.
